Prof. Dr. RESHAD Khaled, Executive Director of the KHES, visited the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan from January 22nd to February 6th, 2026, to observe the activities of the KHES in Kandahar and TB prevention training. Now, four and a half years after the Taliban's return to power, how have people's lives changed? What were the reactions of doctors, nurses, midwives, and laboratory technicians participating in the tuberculosis prevention training? How are the Afghan and Japanese governments positioning the resumption of such training? Dr. RESHAD Khaled, upon his return, will hold a report meeting on his visit to Afghanistan, sharing information about the current lives of the people in Afghanistan, the situation in the country, and the activities of our association.
